As a mother-daughter team, Leslye and MacKenzie naturally integrate family and community into their business through their deep connections to the Puget Sound area. Leslye was born and raised in Tacoma and moved to Gig Harbor with her family in 1990. She has been involved with the local community for the last 30 years, starting with a position on the Peninsula School Board in the 1990s. Leslye and MacKenzie are currently proud supporters of “Communities in Schools”, an organization that empowers students to stay in school and provides necessary support and resources to help them succeed. They both volunteer within the local schools and various community organizations.
Leslye’s real estate journey began in 1995 and includes extensive involvement in the REALTOR Association from board and committee positions as well as managerial roles within John L Scott for over 15 years. MacKenzie spent the first half of her professional career living in various cities overseas including Beijing, Sydney, and Taipei, bringing international experience and a multi-cultural perspective to the team.
When they aren’t working, Leslye enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with her grandchildren, hiking with her dog Tenzin, and spending time with friends. Her and her husband have spent countless hours rebuilding their home on Henderson Bay into a beautiful space for hosting friends, family, and clients. MacKenzie is passionate about creating music, meditation, running, spending time in nature and exploring trails with her dog, Koda. She and her partner Christopher are building a small retreat center to offer a community space for meditation, sound healing, plant medicine education, and natural healing modalities.
